healing begins where identity is reclaimed

Healing is not just about what happened to you.It’s about what you believed because of it.

Pain often rewrites identity quietly. It convinces you that you are broken, forgotten, or defined by survival.

But God heals by restoring truth first.

“He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.” — Psalm 147:3

Notice the order—He addresses the heart before the wound.

As identity is reclaimed, healing accelerates. You stop treating yourself as damaged goods and start seeing yourself as someone God is restoring with care and intention.

You are not what hurt you. You are who God is healing.
